A little care goes a long way in helping your suit stay
soft, flexible and warm for much longer.
Please do not
Dry your suit in the sun
Much like a gremlin, it turns into something crusty and sad in direct sunlight.
Hang it by the shoulders
The weight of the suit stretches the shoulder panels over time.
Put it in a dryer
Heat destroys neoprene, glue and stitching.
Use hot water or harsh detergents
They weaken the material and reduce flexibility.
Please do
Rinse with cool fresh water after every session
Salt crystals dry into the material and slowly damage it.
Dry it in the shade
Sun breaks down neoprene and makes it stiff and brittle.
Hang it at the waist
Fold it over a thick hanger at the hips to avoid stretching at the shoulders.
Turn it inside out to dry
The inside holds more water and smells if it stays damp.
